Guido co-founded Innoves Group in 1991, which he quickly grew and internationalized into five countries. Guido realized early on the need, as well as demand, for technological innovation out of publicly funded research with billion dollar budgets. He designed the most successful German start-up initiative (KEIM) based on public research, which led to the foundation of more than two hundred companies. He conceptualized the Innovation Strategy for an Austrian region and was in charge of the $250M USD under management which was awarded most innovative region by the President of the European Commission in 2007. He also pioneered PPP programs to match private money invested with money from public programs and grants. Guido methodically synthesized his experiences and his network to create Innoveas.
